About Us: We are seeking a Temporary Works Advisor to become part of our Kier Professional Services (KPS) team. KPS is the engineering consultancy branch of Kier Group, dedicated to providing innovative design solutions, expert technical guidance, and comprehensive engineering support across all divisions of Kier.

With over 2,000 designs executed annually in support of more than 400 projects, we stand as one of the largest Temporary Works design teams in the UK. Our team of over 100 Temporary Works engineers brings extensive expertise in designing and verifying Temporary Works for projects of varying scales and sectors.

Location: Flexible working arrangements available, with occasional office visits required.

Business Sector: Transportation, Kier Professional Services (KPS)

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent – options for flexible and part-time hours are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing Temporary Works Design Briefs and tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external design teams.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits, while also providing training and mentorship to colleagues.

Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for you if:

  • You possess a solid background as a professional Engineer in Design and/or Contracting.
  • You have demonstrated experience in the design and management of efficient temporary works schemes.
  • You may be a seasoned Site or Project Manager looking to transition into Temporary Works.
