Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in building construction and rail infrastructure to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor project completion to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental, and contractual obligations are achieved safely.
  • Review design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements, and job safety analysis.
  • Assign tasks effectively to project team members, ensuring outputs meet agreed specifications.
  • Monitor KPIs and productivity against programme and budget, taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Mentor and support Project, Site, and Graduate Engineers to foster their development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in building construction, preferably in infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders for project approvals and permits.
