Job Title: Contract Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Nova Artes Engineering. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our commercial gas service and maintenance contracts. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  2. Develop and maintain sound working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
  3. Oversee and assist the team of contract coordinators to meet service delivery demands and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  4. Provide efficient and timely responses to maintain high levels of service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  5. Identify work streams and prioritize workload to ensure it is completed within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  6. Support and liaise with the Field Operations manager to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  7. Support management of all business areas by providing analysis and reporting information to inform business decisions.
  8. Maintain accurate and effective files/records, including use of our job management system.
  9. Adopt and apply the company escalation processes to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  10. Manage their own work and jobs and deliver to high standards, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  11. Represent the company in client meetings and provide information and support as required.
  12. Provide information and attend resource meetings with company management to ensure correct staffing levels are achieved.
  13. Have a visionary approach and strategic thought process to drive business growth and improvement.
  14. Create quotations based on site surveys and information provided by engineers, ensuring all items are communicated with external stakeholders.
  15. Capture all revenue streams available and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  16. Assist with the day-to-day running of gas servicing and heating departments, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  17. Resolve technical problems and communicate with staff, analyzing data and identifying solutions to improve service delivery.
  18. Provide an investigatory role, responding to incidents, notices, concerns, and queries from clients and staff.
  19. Provide information by answering questions and requests from engineers and clients, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  20. Maintain contract KPIs and quality standards of the company by installing efficiently and safely with a high-quality finish.
  21. Deliver a high-quality service to the client and their customers, having respect for all individuals and meeting the challenges presented.

Requirements:

  1. 5 years of industry experience and 2 years of experience at management level.
  2. Experience of working within the Social Housing sector on commercial gas/renewable maintenance contracts.
  3. Experience supervising others and managing teams.
  4. Experience of working with residents and clients directly, ensuring excellent customer service.
  5. A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.
  6. Experience of contract tendering, mobilization, and delivery.
  7. Excellent written communication and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  8. Computer-literate and experience in Microsoft Software.
  9. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and use initiative at all times.
  10. General competence in the given trade, COCN1, CODNCO1, TCP1a.
