Job Title: Gardener/Landscaper

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener/Landscaper to join our team at Jackson Sims Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planting, pruning, and nurturing trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns to ensure they thrive and look their best.
  • Lawn care, including mowing, aerating, and edging to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Designing and installing new landscape features, such as flower beds, walkways, and patios, to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our properties.
  • Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use and minimize waste.
  • Controlling weeds, pests, and diseases to prevent damage to plants and maintain a healthy environment.
  • Operating and maintaining garden tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Seasonal planting and maintaining existing landscape designs to ensure they remain vibrant and attractive throughout the year.
  • Ensuring gardens and outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing for our clients and their guests.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their specific landscaping needs and vision, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their expectations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or a related field, with a strong understanding of plants, flowers, and garden maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to use gardening tools and machinery safely and effectively, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Attention to detail and a creative approach to garden design, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or gardening roles, with a strong understanding of the importance of attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
