About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled HLTA with behavioural experience to join our team at an Alternative Provision in Blackpool. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver small intervention groups with up to 8 pupils
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of working with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Experience of working in an Alternative Provision or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
