Join Our Team as a Systems Engineer

CBSbutler is a leading provider of surveillance and fire control solutions for Land and Maritime domains. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance targeting and surveillance equipment for land and naval defence applications.

About the Role

  • Requirements Capture and Management: Gather and document system requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Functional and Physical Systems Architecture Design and Definition: Develop and implement system architectures that meet customer needs and technical requirements.
  • System Modelling: Create and maintain system models to facilitate design, development, and testing.
  • Development of Engineering Management Plans: Establish and implement plans for safety management, test integration and acceptance, and technical risk management.
  • Gathering of Verification Evidence: Collect and document evidence to validate system requirements.
  • Creation of Procurement Specifications: Develop specifications for sub-systems and components to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
  • Writing Test Specifications: Create test plans and procedures to ensure system functionality and performance.
  • Conducting Design Reviews: Lead and participate in design reviews to ensure system design meets technical and customer requirements.
  • Environmental Qualification Plans: Develop plans to ensure system compliance with environmental standards.

Requirements

  • A good degree in Engineering or physical sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years' systems engineering experience in a defence engineering company.
  • Proficient in requirements management tools (DOORS, Visure or R4J).
  • Work package management in JIRA.
  • Proficient in report writing.
