We are currently witnessing substantial growth in our electrical inspection and control panel manufacturing division. Therefore, we are on the lookout for a driven and experienced Electrical Project Coordinator. In this role, you will manage both in-house and field-based operations related to the design, construction, and execution of control panels, as well as industrial electrical projects, including Atex inspections and general installations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the complete lifecycle of electrical and control instrumentation projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Directing the design and construction of pump controllers and control panels, utilizing Sulzer's distinctive and powerful standard features.
- Taking ownership of project tendering, ensuring effective commercial risk management and project profitability.
- Ensuring seamless integration and functionality of control panels through effective coordination of internal engineering and manufacturing efforts.
- Managing the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems at various client locations.
- Collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions that enhance the performance of their pumping stations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations in all activities.
- Preparing and presenting regular project updates, including progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the project team.
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A solid background in control panel design, manufacturing processes, and field implementation.
- A formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with Atex systems is advantageous, with formal qualifications such as CompEx Ex01-Ex04 being beneficial.
- Experience in project management is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with customer relationship management tools such as Salesforce is a plus but not mandatory.
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
