Agricultural Service Engineer - Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Service Engineer to join our client's team, a well-established entity in the agricultural industry experiencing significant growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a variety of agricultural machinery, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation for efficient departmental operations.
  • Manage supplier technical case submissions and ensure closure upon completion.
  • Repair and service agricultural machinery and related equipment as required.
  • Demonstrate machinery to clients when requested.
  • Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or senior management.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in good condition and report any issues to the Service Manager promptly.
  • Handle deliveries and collections as necessary.
  • Participate in training programs mandated by the company.
  • Uphold the company's reputation and safeguard its assets.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from clients efficiently, providing excellent service.
  • Report any equipment faults or failures to a supervisor or senior officer.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the industry, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
  • Possession of a valid Full Driving Licence.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: £16 - £19 per hour (OTE with overtime potential between £40,000 - £90,000).
  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
  • Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 39 hours and 2x after 48 hours worked per week, including Sundays.
  • Holiday Package: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Company Van provided.
  • Company Sick Pay after 6 months of employment.
  • Pension Scheme available.
