About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team at Rubber Cheese Limited. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing complex software systems and components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and Laravel, with experience in developing web applications using Umbraco, HubSpot CMS Hub, Contentful, or Bloomreach. You will be accountable for delivering high-quality solutions on time and on budget, while working collaboratively with our team to achieve business outcomes.

This is a full-time remote working role, with occasional on-site meetings across the UK. We offer a competitive salary, training and certification opportunities, and a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, paid leave, and a company pension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test complex software systems and components
  • Develop web applications using PHP, Laravel, and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with the development team to achieve business outcomes
  • Act as a technical design authority on projects
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in web development, with a strong background in PHP and Laravel
  • Experience in developing web applications using Umbraco, HubSpot CMS Hub, Contentful, or Bloomreach
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
