Electrical Design Role

Location: Northwest Kent, Flexible & Hybrid Working

Salary: £30k - £55k, DOE + Benefits

Job Overview:
This electrical design position is to join a small engineering consultancy, True Engineers, and work alongside the MD, offering exposure to all facets of building services design. You will receive plenty of mentoring and support and will have responsibility for your own workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design electrical systems, including calculations, preparation of drawings and specifications.
  2. Design site-specific equipment as required.
  3. Oversee and supervise the installation of building systems and specify maintenance and operating procedures.
  4. Liaise closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors.
  5. Advise clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimize the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint.

Requirements:

  1. Preferably a relevant degree, electrical or building services related.
  2. Previous work within an electrical building services design role, with either a consultancy or contractor.
  3. Hold a full UK driving license.
