Proactive Global is currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support our client in their operational needs.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-driven individual to fill the position of Procurement Coordinator. This is a perfect opportunity for someone eager to enhance their skills or re-enter the procurement field. Comprehensive training will be provided to successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the busy subcontract division, demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the production team.
  • Execute orders with suppliers efficiently.
  • Prepare, inspect, and label components for dispatch to subcontractors.
  • Oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring that deliveries align with purchase orders.
  • Facilitate the movement of products to subsequent operations, ensuring accurate identification of items with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor the progress of subcontracted components, ensuring timely receipt to meet production schedules.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and communicating essential information to internal production and sales teams during meetings.
  • Oversee inventory management of hardware and materials, conducting monthly stock checks and ensuring the accuracy of the company’s inventory system.

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 07:30 am to 16:00 pm.

Compensation: £11.44 per hour, with an expected workload of 40 hours per week.
