About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to join our team at Ty Cwm, a highly valued provider of care. As a Nurse at Ty Cwm, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess residents' needs and develop services to enhance their quality of life
  • Champion appropriate independence and personal choice, developing and reviewing care plans to meet residents' needs
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are received, stored, and administered in accordance with company policies and legislation
  • Build a positive reputation for the Business, liaising professionally with visitors and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines, identifying and resolving risks proactively
  • Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code

Requirements:

  • Ability to lead a team, analyze problems, and propose solutions or improvements
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding and use of IT and communication systems required for the role
  • Respect for the values, views, and needs of others
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload
  • Experience of delivering nursing care in the elderly healthcare sector
  • Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programs

Working Hours and Shift Times:

Nights, 25 hours a week, 2 shifts per week, 7pm – 7:30am
