About the Role...

At EDF, we are committed to delivering innovative energy solutions, and as part of our ongoing projects, we are looking for two skilled Project Control Managers. These positions are vital for the successful execution of our initiatives, including the development of new nuclear reactors that will contribute to a sustainable energy future.

Your Responsibilities...

  • Oversee and guide a dedicated team of Project Controllers, Operational Schedulers, Change Coordinators, and Risk Coordinators, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Design and implement project control strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance project delivery, manage costs effectively, and mitigate risks.
  • Assess and monitor the performance of the project controls team, providing necessary guidance, feedback, and training to uphold high performance standards.
  • Facilitate robust communication among project stakeholders, ensuring timely and clear dissemination of project updates, reports, and risk evaluations.
  • Identify and evaluate project risks, collaborating with risk coordinators to formulate effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Manage the change control process, ensuring that any alterations to project scope, schedule, and budget are documented, assessed for impact, and approved in line with governance procedures.
  • Work closely with operational schedulers to create and maintain project timelines, tracking progress against key milestones and identifying opportunities for schedule optimization.
  • Lead the preparation for key financial exercises and main contractual activities, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.

  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving project objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective conveyance of complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming project challenges.
  • Proficiency in project and cost management software tools, along with a solid understanding of cost management methodologies.
  • Experience in collaborating with clients and stakeholders to address cost-related challenges and ensure project alignment.
  • Fluency in French is a plus.
