Role Responsibilities:
As a key player in our expanding team, you will be involved in a diverse array of projects, including those in the automotive, aerospace, and educational sectors, as well as residential developments. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Creating detailed drawings using AutoCAD or Revit models, along with production drawings and schedules for the Civil & Structural Engineering team.
  • Collaborating with fellow engineering technicians and engineers to develop models and produce general arrangement drawings, sections, and details for structures.
  • Engaging with architects, building services engineers, and other professionals to ensure that all models, drawings, and schedules are accurately developed in line with the design program.
  • Exercising the necessary skill and judgment to ensure that all civil and structural engineering drawings are complete, detailed, and error-free.
  • Taking ownership of your work and that of others, including external consultants and contractors, ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Conducting site surveys as needed, including measured building surveys.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Preferably an ONC or HNC or equivalent qualification in Building Structures or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in a design office environment.
  • Familiarity with building structure projects within the UK.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Structure Software.
  • Experience with both new build and refurbishment projects involving structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.
