Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Fuel Operations Coordinator to manage our fuel point and CET plant. This role is structured around a permanent contract, with an average of 37 hours per week, following a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 19:00 to 06:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently operate the fuel point and CET plant to ensure peak performance while servicing various customer trains during overnight hours.
- Conduct fuelling of traction units and fill water tanks as required.
- Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with Vehicle Maintenance Instructions.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of health and safety regulations, strong problem-solving abilities, and prior experience in rail vehicle maintenance. An NVQ Level 2 in Engineering is preferred.
