About Our Graduate Initiative

At RSE, we recognize that graduates play a crucial role in addressing the challenges within the water sector. We invite aspiring professionals to join our organization and embark on a career path focused on creating innovative solutions that significantly impact the water industry. Our graduate initiative is meticulously crafted to provide you with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to thrive within our organization and the broader industry, facilitated by a structured program aimed at fast-tracking your personal growth, complemented by mentorship and support.

This initiative spans a 24-month duration, positioning you ideally for advancement towards professional accreditation through recognized engineering bodies, tailored to your specific discipline.

Mentorship Program

To ensure effective development throughout the Graduate Program, each participant is paired with a dedicated mentor, fostering a strong professional relationship during their tenure. This mentorship initiative is designed to enable graduates to learn from experienced colleagues as they navigate the two-year program.

Mentors assigned to graduates will not be their direct supervisors, allowing for constructive and open guidance. These mentors are committed to enhancing the mentee's leadership skills and management acumen.

The mentoring relationship will also provide insights into achieving Chartership status in the chosen field, while meeting the necessary competence and commitment standards. Graduates will benefit from their mentor's specialized knowledge and connections within the organization, facilitating the development of a professional network and enhancing career advancement opportunities.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking applicants in the following engineering disciplines:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Process Engineering

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A degree in engineering (other qualifications or relevant experience may be considered).
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • A willingness to adapt and thrive in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrating creativity and collaboration.
  • A valid UK Driving License.
