About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Support Worker to join our team in Sheffield. As an Advanced Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, who have complex needs, to lead the best life possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed support that follows structured clinical guidance, building on what currently works well for the individuals we support.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to create a psychologically safe environment for the individuals we support.
  • Support individuals to work towards person-centered outcomes, which may include feeling safe to live the life they choose, with no pressure and no demands.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in mental health, autism, and sensory communication, and physical health.
  • Ability to connect with people and be passionate about supporting individuals to live independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
