Overview:
GSL Education is seeking dedicated Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, or Education Studies Graduates to join our team as Special Needs Learning Support Assistants. This role is centered in a specialized educational environment catering to children with various emotional, social, and mental health challenges.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) who face challenges such as trauma, ADHD, OCD, and more. Your primary focus will be to foster a supportive learning atmosphere that emphasizes relationship-building and restorative practices.

Key Aspects of the Role:
1. Establishing trust and comfort with students through a restorative approach.
2. Demonstrating the importance of education to enhance student engagement and motivation.

This position is ideal for those aspiring to pursue careers in Clinical Psychology, Advocacy, or Education, providing invaluable hands-on experience in a challenging yet rewarding setting.

Work Environment:
- Engage with a diverse group of students aged 5-16 in small class sizes, ensuring personalized attention.
- Collaborate with experienced SEN professionals and fellow graduates in a supportive team.

Training and Support:
All necessary training and ongoing support will be provided by the institution, ensuring you are well-equipped to meet the needs of our students.
