Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Programming Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating effectively within the engineering team.
  • Creating manufacturing engineering documentation as needed.
  • Ensuring that Part Programs align with specified cycle times.
  • Occasionally modeling legacy components in 3D for programming purposes.
  • Programming 3, 4, 5, and 7 axis machines utilizing Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc, and Mazatrol controls.
  • Employing Aerospace fastening methods and Matrix plates in programming.
  • Utilizing Autodesk PowerMILL/PowerSHAPE, HyperMill, or Catia V5 software for programming and modeling.
  • Verifying programs using Vericut software.
  • Supporting the engineering function across various CNC machine tools within our business units.
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of Aerospace materials such as Aluminium, Titanium, and Stainless Steel.
