Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Teesside Primary and York. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing a high standard of support to both the children in the class and the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
  • Assist with the supervision of children during lessons and breaks
  • Help to identify children who may require extra support and develop strategies to support their learning
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools
  • Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment
  • Ability to work effectively with children of all ages and abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
