About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
- Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota
Requirements
- Time-served Mechanical Technician with ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving license
