Principal - Real Estate Private Equity

Our client, a leading real estate private equity fund, is seeking a seasoned Principal to join their European Real Estate Investment team in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and evaluate real estate investment opportunities in Europe, working closely with the investment team to identify potential deals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including market research, competitive analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and present investment recommendations to the investment committee, highlighting the potential for growth and return.
  • Lead negotiations and structuring of complex real estate transactions, working closely with the deal team to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage the entire investment process, from initial screening to closing, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven real estate buy-side experience from leading PERE or opportunistic real estate investors.
  • Circa 10-12 years' relevant real estate investment/acquisitions experience.
  • Strong network and relationships with real estate developers, investors, and other industry professionals.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English; proficiency in a second European language a plus.
