Role Overview
IO Associates is on the lookout for a seasoned Engineering Team Lead to oversee and direct a diverse group of developers, quality assurance specialists, and product managers.
In this crucial position, you will spearhead the development and enhancement of our platform, ensuring it remains resilient, scalable, and at the forefront of technology.
This role is perfect for a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to nurturing a culture of teamwork and ongoing improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team to promote seamless collaboration and maintain high performance standards.
- Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of code that is efficient, dependable, and of the utmost quality.
- Ensure continuous support, maintenance, and upgrades of existing systems and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Provide strategic insights and promote continuous improvement, aligning the team with best practices and technological innovations.
- Champion and implement automated testing frameworks to uphold the quality of the development lifecycle.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and team workloads to guarantee projects are completed on time and within budget.
Skills and Experience Required
- At least 8 years of experience in software development with substantial leadership and team management experience.
- Proven track record in leading agile teams, with a comprehensive understanding of agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a varied audience.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .Net Core, .NET Web API, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with SQL databases and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Proficient in using Git repositories and experienced in CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, microservices architecture, and Docker.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, including NET Blazor, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and Clean Architecture principles.
- Able to produce well-organized and maintainable documentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
