Job Summary:

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Field Service and Installation Engineer to join our team. As a Fire and Security Field Service and Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing various fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems, to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Service Calls: Respond to demand service calls on all types of fire and security systems, including corrective and preventative maintenance.
  • System Updates: Apply updates and accurate descriptions of works completed via SIMPRO to inform the office of progress.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including front-line customer service and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Travel and On-Call: Travel to client sites and be part of an on-call rota, which includes working one week in every four.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience of front-line customer service and a background in fire and security systems installation and maintenance.
  • Qualifications: A Full UK Driving Licence and the ability to pass several background checks, including a credit check, five-year referencing history, and DBS check.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of fire and security systems, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
