The Role
- Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future by performing welding operations to a radiographic standard
- Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems
- Conduct equipment inspections and adhere to established welding protocols and safety regulations, including fume control
- Identify and report potential welding problems for corrective action
- Ability to identify your own welds for quality control
- Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards
Requirements
- Significant welding experience with a solid foundation in various welding techniques
- A proven track record in large-scale projects in a regulated sector
- Experience working in environments with stringent quality control procedures and inspections
- Proficient in welding and fabricating piping systems, understanding the specific requirements of this field
- A multi-disciplined welding approach and the ability to weld a variety of materials
- Level 3 Welding Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
- EN ISO certified (or equivalent)
