Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to students with ASD or SEMH needs in a mainstream primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-2-1 support to students with ASD or SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure inclusive learning environments
  • Support students with daily living skills and personal care
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with ASD or SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
