Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our CNC machinery and other production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure CNC machines operate at peak performance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on CNC machinery and production equipment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance protocols.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Record maintenance activities, including work completed and parts used, for accurate documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance-related downtime.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Maintenance Engineer with expertise in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, specifically working with CNC machinery.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of control systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics as they apply to CNC machinery.
  • Basic understanding of PLC systems for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
