Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Orthopaedic Casting Specialist to become a vital member of our dedicated team, providing essential services across multiple locations, and supporting a wide array of orthopaedic and trauma specialty clinics.
The ideal candidate will possess a BOA certification.
The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of patient care involving plaster casts, splints, and braces.
Key Responsibilities
The Orthopaedic Casting Specialist will execute and oversee prescribed treatments, demonstrating adherence to evidence-based practices while following the guidelines set forth by the British Orthopaedic Association.
You will provide casting and splinting assistance within the clinic as needed, while also offering support and guidance to patients and their caregivers to facilitate optimal treatment and promote self-care.
About Our Organization
Candidates invited for an interview must confirm their interview slot in the system, even if prior arrangements have been made with the hiring manager.
It is essential to present ALL required certifications as outlined in the person specification to complete pre-employment checks.
Our organization delivers hospital services from two primary acute facilities and operates a planned care center, along with community hospitals and numerous other community-based settings, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.
We actively encourage applications from individuals with disabilities and those from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, as these groups are currently under-represented in our workforce.
Please note that we cannot provide sponsorship for roles that do not necessitate professional registration; applicants must possess the Right to Work in the United Kingdom. If you are in the UK on a visa, please ensure there are no restrictions that would hinder your ability to accept this position.
Detailed job descriptions can be found in the supporting documents of the job advertisement.
Job Duties
