We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Impact Recruitment Ltd. As a Part Time Credit Control Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Credit Controller in managing and recovering aged debtor accounts, ensuring prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Credit Controller in managing and recovering aged debtor accounts, ensuring prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
- Regularly review debtor accounts and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment.
- Collaborate with the project management and sales teams to gather necessary documentation to support retention claims.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Credit Controller and support in the preparation of reports on debt recovery progress.
- Assist in implementing and improving credit control processes to enhance efficiency and reduce debtor days.
- Provide general administrative support to the Credit Control department as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Sage and Excel, and experience with CRM systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
