Position Overview

Technical Support Specialist – Permanent Role

GS Solutions is seeking dedicated professionals to enhance our service desk team. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in technical support to provide assistance to our user community.

This position requires on-site presence five days a week, with minimal travel required, necessitating a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering first and second line IT support to end-users, addressing a range of issues from onboarding new employees to resolving network disruptions.
  • Offering technical assistance for server and storage infrastructure.
  • Participating in the upkeep and support of Active Directory services.
  • Providing guidance on Office 365 applications and services.
  • Assisting with the deployment and management of virtual applications and desktops.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering second line IT support.
  • Basic knowledge of firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory management.
  • Understanding of Office 365 administration.
  • Experience with virtual application and desktop environments.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
