Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary schools across Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or physical disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and progress
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in different school settings and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role is beneficial
