Group FP&A Manager - Private Equity - M&A

Elevation Accountancy and Finance is currently working with an international private equity-backed organisation that is seeking a Group FP&A Manager to join their team.

This is a critical role within their commercial division, where you will work closely with the CFO, board, and private equity investors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding the operational, financial, and strategic decision-making process, as well as being involved in all acquisitions with a view to doubling the turnover of an already highly profitable business.

This is a high-profile role that requires an individual with excellent analytical skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to develop relationships at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior management and finance teams across international divisions to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Lead the international budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinating timetables and setting planning guidelines and expectations.
  • Analyse business results to establish trends and develop forward-looking action plans.
  • Assist in the evaluation of potential acquisitions to understand value drivers and market background.
  • Create and review financial models to support business evaluation and transaction analysis.
  • Interpret and present financial information to stakeholders.
  • Support the gathering and presentation of data for due diligence and sale processes.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones, considering individual and team deadlines.
  • Manage relationships with financial teams and stakeholders.
  • Own the strategic planning process for the business, from timetable to expectation setting.
  • Provide coaching and support on financial matters and best practices to various business areas.
Your Profile:
  • You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
  • Essential experience in Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Experience in financial analysis and modelling, ideally in an FP&A or finance business partner role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking with a commercial focus.
  • Excellent Excel skills are required for this role.
