We are particularly interested in candidates who possess City & Guilds NVQ level 3 in Motor Vehicles or NVP Level 2 along with relevant experience.
Compensation: Competitive rates based on experience
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts at enhanced rates.
This position is a temporary ongoing role, with weekly pay through the agency. Comprehensive training will be provided on-site, although prior experience in vehicle inspection is essential.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in vehicles.
- Perform vehicle inspections to detect potential problems and suggest suitable solutions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Demonstrated experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a comparable role.
- Strong mechanical understanding of vehicle systems and components.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for vehicle repairs.
- Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar capacity.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Outstanding attention to detail and effective time management skills.
