GENERAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER / ELECTRICAL

Salary: £35,000 per annum Negotiable + Company Vehicle.

Location: Dartford area.

Essential Qualifications

  • 18th Edition Electrical Certification.
  • City & Guilds Level 2 in General Electrical Installation.
  • Clear Enhanced DBS Check.

Willingness to Learn and Perform the Following Tasks

Repair/Replace:

Door hardware including hinges, closure systems, locks, euro cylinders, and handles. Small-scale repairs in plastering, painting, and filling.

Flooring maintenance including hot welding.

Window hardware such as handles, closures, restrictors, and locks.

Minor repairs on kitchen appliances including dishwashers, cookers, and fridge freezers.

General plumbing tasks including tap washers, u-bends, toilet flushing systems, and drain unblocking.

Installation and maintenance of bathroom fixtures, pumps, sensors, and emergency lighting systems.

Basic carpentry skills for furniture repair and maintenance of PPMs and SLAs.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • On-call duty once every four weeks.
  • 30-minute lunch break.
