Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team at a thriving Secondary School in Doncaster. This is a full-time, possibly permanent role, requiring a proactive and able individual to maintain the school premises and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • General maintenance and upkeep of the school premises, including cleaning, repairs, and improvements.
  • Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and secure, with a focus on health and safety compliance.
  • Liaising with external contractors when necessary to maintain the school facilities.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the school, including responding to emergencies and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • Previous caretaking or site management experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities are required to work effectively with the school community.
