Job Title: Site Agent

Randstad CPE is seeking a skilled Site Agent to work on a major HS2 project. The ideal candidate will have experience in station fit out and be able to manage a sub-contractor/package of works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and check the quality of borehole installations, coring, and sampling.
  • Supervise on-site works to ensure they are carried out safely and in accordance with the method statement.
  • Manage the programme and turnaround times on GI reports.
  • Review the quality and content of GI reports.
  • Liaise with the designer where the specification needs to be changed or problems arise.
  • Manage GI sub-contractor ensuring they are fulfilling their sub-contract duties and manage their performance.
  • Verify timesheets and payments to sub-contractor and control the budget with the package QS.
  • Investigate boreholes/site where the trigger levels in the Designer Monitoring Plan have been breached or there are inconsistencies in the data.
  • Chair the Ground Water Area East Monitoring weekly meeting.
  • Be the point of contact for the delivery and design team for all GI works.
  • Programme and complete Ground Investigations and approve reports.
  • Carry out ongoing checks on water level readings and environmental sampling.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified.
  • Experience in station fit out.
  • Ability to critically review and understand Ground Investigation reports.
  • Experience and ability to manage a sub-contractor/package of works.
  • Ability to be at the site office/on site daily.
