About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our regional main contracting business, working on healthcare projects across Sussex and Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from preconstruction to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, including tender packs and subcontract orders.
- Manage and analyze project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in business development activities, including identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction law, contracts, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
