We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at Here 4 Heat Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our team of Gas Engineers and ensuring the delivery of top-tier service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of Gas Engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement technical strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Gas Engineer team, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of workload.
- Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Training and Development
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that Gas Engineers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Identify and address any training needs or gaps within the team.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure that all reporting and compliance requirements are met, including Gas Safe registration and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure that all necessary records and documentation are maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior engineering or management role, preferably in the gas industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of gas engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical and operational issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
