About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Additional Resource Provision (ARP) class, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a key member of our team, you will work closely with students with ASD, providing individualized support to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with ASD, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as personal care and organization.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or a related field (Level 2 or 3 preferred).
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other SEN needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
