About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Head Chef to join our team at Chartwells - Main. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food to enhance the company's reputation for quality.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach, taking responsibility for food production, covering all employee dining and extensive range of pop-ups.
  • Implement and maintain food monitoring procedures to facilitate budgetary control and monitor all costs involved in the kitchen against agreed budgets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, demonstrating a track record of catering for large numbers while making customers feel their meal has been individually prepared.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, develop, train and inspire a large team.
  • Passion for food and customer service, with bags of enthusiasm and a focus on customer engagement.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, with superb culinary skills and good financial understanding.
  • High standards and a quality-driven approach, with excellent organisational skills and a 'can-do' attitude.
