The Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Counterbalance Driver to join our team in Birmingham. As a Counterbalance driver, you will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Counterbalance Safely: Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials from vehicles, maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
- Warehouse Operations: Assist with general warehouse duties, including labelling, sorting, and stocktaking.
- Maintenance and Reporting: Report any maintenance or machinery issues to the line manager, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized workspace, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Driver Licenses: Mandatory from external accrediting bodies.
- Industrial Experience: Proven experience as a Counterbalance driver within an industrial or similar environment.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Strong knowledge and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Efficiency and Multitasking: Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and Time Management: Reliable with excellent time management skills.
- Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Compensation and Schedule:
£11.44 per hour, with a shift pattern of 6am till 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available.
