Project Director

We're seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Finance business unit in Glasgow. As a key member of our project management team, you'll be responsible for delivering selected technology projects that drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Define and ensure project alignment with key business objectives, identifying and communicating with stakeholders as needed.
- Build and deliver project plans, milestones, and sprint plans to drive project execution.
- Own the issue and risk management process, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
- Lead project teams and manage resource dependencies across ATS teams, business contributors, and external partners.
- Manage project demands, intercept issues, and implement countermeasures as required.
- Communicate key risks and issues to the PMO, project team, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvement and quality standards within the project management team.
- 4+ years' experience in a technology project management role.
- Experience working within a Finance function.
- APM or Prince 2 certification (foundation level, practitioner desirable).
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in executing Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Structured approach to problem-solving and improvement planning.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight timelines.
- Experience delivering technical projects in an enterprise environment.
