The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational and day-to-day management of clerical and administration services within the Area Acute Specialties division in the East area. This will involve monitoring waiting times, capacity and demand, identifying problem areas and working with the Operational Management Team to resolve issues and ensure a coordinated approach to the delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage designated specialties and operational day-to-day administration processes
  • Monitor waiting times, capacity and demand, and identify problem areas
  • Work with the Operational Management Team to resolve issues and ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery
  • Experience of handling complex/sensitive complaints or situations/issues
  • Experience of project work
  • Management of databases
  • Ability to travel within geographical area
  • Ability to demonstrate the personal qualities and professional competencies required of all managers and leaders in line with local competence frameworks

Requirements:

  • UK or Republic of Ireland (RoI) nationals or candidates with permission to work in the UK
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
