Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse to join our team as a Care Home Night Nurse. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care to residents, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Participate in quality and clinical governance programmes to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience in elderly healthcare, preferably in a care home setting.

Working Hours

This is a permanent position, working 44 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 8.00am – 8.00pm and 8.00pm to 8.00am. We offer a performance bonus and 28 days annual leave.
