About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Jointer to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a Cable Jointer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our high-voltage and low-voltage networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out jointing, cabling, and excavation work on our HV and LV networks
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to our strong safety culture
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations and out-of-hours standby duties
  • Act as an ambassador for SSE Enterprise, providing excellent customer service
Requirements
  • DNO industry experience in the UK or overseas, with a recognized cable jointing qualification
  • Proven track record in construction, repair, and operation of electrical plant and equipment up to 11kV
  • Sound HV and LV electrical knowledge
  • Flexible approach to out-of-hours standby duties and short notice work
  • High regard for safety and adherence to guidelines
