Reception Class Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception Class Teacher to join our team at a primary school in Enfield. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the curriculum at Reception level, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded education.
  • Establish a tidy and organized classroom environment that promotes student learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their academic growth to inform instruction.
  • Comply with the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid QTS or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate a good level of classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Have experience working in a mainstream school setting as a Reception Class Teacher.
