Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in South Manchester. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from feasibility studies to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction projects from feasibility studies to completion
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients and contractors
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards
  • Provide expert advice to clients on construction-related matters

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field
  • MRICS qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of working with JCT and NEC contracts
  • Knowledge of MS Project and QS software
