Project Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Intersect Global Ltd. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of rail-related civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the commercial management of a portfolio of projects valued at circa £20M-£30M
  • Lead the negotiation of supply chain contracts and manage subcontractors
  • Manage allocated Control Accounts with site teams, including cost/value reconciliations and out-turn forecast & spend profiling
  • Ensure costs and records are accurate and up-to-date, in agreement with Network Rail Site Representatives
  • Utilize Site Commercial and Document Systems (Oracle, CEMAR, ProjectWise, Forecasting Tools)
  • Provide commercial support to the Procurement process
Requirements:
  • Education to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar
  • At least 3-4 years of experience operating at Quantity Surveyor level
  • Experience working on civil engineering, earthworks, or utility projects under NEC terms
  • Proven track record of commercial success delivering rail-related civils schemes valued upwards of £10M
