This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Product Development Engineer to work for a Global business on an initial 12 month contract basis. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative consumer goods, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

About the Role

The Junior Product Development Engineer will be responsible for mixing, testing, developing and improving product formulations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and suitability for manufacture. Regular liaison with customers will be required to discuss product performance and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Mix and test product formulations to ensure quality and suitability for manufacture.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and suitability for manufacture.
  3. Liaise with customers regularly regarding product performance and improvements.
  4. Support senior engineers in product development projects.

Requirements

A successful Junior Product Development Engineer should have previously worked in a similar Product Development position within a manufacturing environment (ideally FMCG). A degree in Product Design Engineering, Chemistry or a related field is required. Working knowledge of SAP is ideal.

What We Offer

This is a long term contract for 12 months. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative FMCG environment. They will be required to work 30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday with some working from home where appropriate.
