Job Opportunity

Vitality Health & Homecare Ltd is seeking a skilled Electronic Call Monitoring and Medication Management Officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our electronic call monitoring systems and the effective management of medication administration for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Electronic Call Monitoring:

  • Monitor and manage the electronic call monitoring system to ensure all care visits are logged accurately and timely.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in call logs, ensuring compliance with agency policies and client care plans.
  • Provide technical support and training to care staff on the use of electronic call monitoring devices and software.
  • Generate and analyze reports on call monitoring data to identify patterns, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with the IT department or external vendors for system updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Medication Management:

  • Oversee the medication administration records (MAR) to ensure accuracy and compliance with client care plans and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of MAR charts and medication stock to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Provide training and guidance to care staff on medication management policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and family members to manage and update clients' medication regimens.
  • Respond to medication-related incidents, ensuring timely and appropriate action is taken.
Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree in Health Care, Nursing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or domiciliary care setting, with a focus on electronic monitoring systems and medication management, is essential.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic call monitoring systems, healthcare software, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Certifications: Certification in Medication Administration or similar is advantageous.
